Luz Martinez
AUTHOR
Luz is a dedicated spouse, mother of four, grandmother to five, and proud great-grandmother of one and another in its way. She is an only child and always wanted a big family, and God has been faithful. Through the years of her life, she discovered her passion for teaching young women what it means to be a Godly woman. Serving is a daily desire in her local church and small groups.
In later years, God gave the name of her ministry, Jars of Clay Women's Ministry, but she didn't know how and when it would come to be. She kept it in her heart until 2020. Little did she know that things took off like the wind once this vision was discussed with her daughter.
Today, she is the author of not one but two books, Chasing God's Heart and Who Are You? God has granted the desires of her heart and more. There is a time for everyone to shine the light of Christ, and when it does, run with it and see what God can do. She is a testimony and an inspiration to the women in her life, as a mentor, a sister in Christ, and everything else God has ordained for a woman with a servant's heart.

Her heart is dedicated to helping them build a strong relationship with God and equipping them with the tools they need to stand firm in their faith.
In addition to her role in youth leadership, she also serves as the Office Coordinator at her church and is the Treasurer of the Jars of Clay Women's Ministry. Luz Irizarry
CO-AUTHOR
Luz is passionate about singing, teaching, and writing. She has been involved in the Jaras of Clay Women’s Ministry since its beginning. Additionally, she is a military spouse, a mother, and a worship leader at her local church. Though the military has taken her to different parts of the country and world, she is dedicated to teaching women who they are in Christ. She is currently in South Carolina but was recently in Aviano, Italy, and was a part of the Refuge Aviano, which is a part of Freedom Outreach, an MTTM (Ministry to The Military), and a Church of God ministry.
Through MTTM, Luz has had the opportunity to be part of the worship team at The Refuge Aviano and to participate in the worship teams for the Spring and Fall retreats. She was also given the opportunity to pursue her calling of becoming a worship pastor.
Luz expressed her excitement when invited to co-write this book with two other writers. With much anticipation and thanksgiving, the Lord has brought her here to share what He has placed on her heart. Her love for writing and passion for teaching women have been the most important takeaway from writing, becoming an author, and committing to being an agent for the Lord.
